The 2007 Dry Bean Harvest is complete here in Colorado. Quality was good and yields were slightly above average overall. Pricing has been steady due mostly to our pricing competition with corn and other high priced commodities. Pricing also is holding it's own because of the lack of grower selling nationally. We understand that the Red River Valley region is all but complete with their dry bean harvest. The only area we know of that is still currently harvesting dry beans is in central North Dakota.
